Many of you will wish to know that Alan, our drummer for more than 20 years, has decided to move to pastures new and leave the band. We would like to say a fond farewell to Alan for his unstinting contribution for over 2 decades and wish him, his wife and family all the best for the future.
Following Alan's departure we would like to welcome our new band member, John, to the band. John is an excellent and versatile drummer who will bring a spark of freshness to the band and will, no doubt, drive us to bigger and better things
Odessa are one of Southampton's foremost contemporary covers bands and are celebrating 26 years of high quality entertaining. If you would like to book Odessa for your special event then nows the time as our diaries are now open for next year.
Odessa are a five piece live pop and rock covers band consisting of a female lead vocalist (Sarah) and four male intrumentalists (Chris, John, Alistair and Jules) who also provide harmony and occasional lead vocals.
The band has been in its current line-up of vocals, keyboard, guitar, bass and drums for 2 years, although the majority of the band have been together fifteen years. Band members range in age from twenties and thirties to fifties, enabling us to play a wide range of music from the Sixties through to the present, helping us to connect with the widest possible range of audience.
Odessa are equally at home in Working Mens Clubs, Weddings, Functions, Military Balls, Corporate Functions or Cruise Ships. The band's professionalism, musicianship, ability to involve any audience and cater to their taste in music, together with the "all live" ethic will make Odessa a unique attraction and an ideal addition to any Agent's or Venues entertainment list.
Odessa are also the best choice for your own special occasion. Every booking is treated with the respect and professionalism you deserve and the band are more than happy to cater to your individual needs.
